Who we are
Our mother Maria was born and raised in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and started cooking young. The recipes are hers, passed down through generations, and she still prepares everything from scratch. “You must cook with love, mija” — her two daughters hear it endlessly.
We make the salsas every morning, cut the toppings fresh daily, grate the cheese ourselves, and source produce, dairy and meat locally. Her daughters were born in California, so burritos snuck onto the menu. Maria allows it.
We will not conform to calling tortillas “shells.” Nowhere in deep Mexico will you hear a local say it. Sorry. Maria and family
